Thought this would be fun to do. Was on a Nai Cha Tea high again last night (*smile*) and was up really late making My Testament or a list of My "Thangs" (things I'd like to focus on). For me, when I write things down, I have a better chance of remembering to do them. Hey, I need ALL the help I can get! If you think it's going to be of any help to you, why don't YOU try it as well? It's important to note, too, that as we grow and change, so too will our testaments. This is not setting something in stone, but instead, creating one's own guidemap in Life.

With that said, here's MY Testament:


Things I want to do:

• watch classic films "Dancer in the Dark" and "Cinema Paradiso"
  
• listen to Narda's new album "Discotillion" or catch a Narda gig live
• watch Cythia Alexander, Joey Ayala, Gary Granada or the Makiling Ensemble live in concert (aryytttt!)
  
• learn how to drive ("Magda-drive ako hanggang Baguio...")
• laugh at myself MORE
• travel MORE
• practice my yoga, meditate & PRAY more

Things I am currently working on:

• my writing, my photography, my punctuality, eating healthy, movin' around more, finding my own way or voice and giving guys a chance (hehe...)

Things I MUST do:

• get a job writing and/or find a way for my different passions to sustain my everyday living and then some (*smile*)
  
• DANCE! ("Nothing else for me to do but dance - all these bad things I'm going through...")
  

Things I'll continue doing:

• being open to & trusting in Spirit
• listening to the Voice within
• being constantly and unceasingly grateful to/for Life
• being more open and communicating more earnestly with ma and dad
• my "healthy living" regimen (food, exercise, good hygiene, good clean fun, hehe...)
• caring for and supporting my absolute friends: my sisters Lea and Thea, best friends Dons and Anne, my wonderfully, funderfully mad womyn friends She, Aki and Alvie

Things I will do eventually or serendipitously (whatever applies!):

• travel and immerse myself in the beauty and culture of Batanes, Sagada, Italy, Ireland and New Zealand
• fall in love deeply with my eventual husband and kids (oooohhhhh, so sweet...!)
  

Things I am committed to doing in the name of all things good, right and just (the sheer vaugeness of the term just shows I didn't know how to label these, obviously!):

• knowing more about art and sharing that knowledge with others
• promoting or championing Philippine arts and the Filipino Artistic Spirit
• working hard, being kind and having FUN!
