hehe...thanks, nell! we pinoys have it good, actually. just walkin' or goin' around the metro, we can stumble upon really interesting sights and stories. we should be proud of that and use it to our advantage, especially in our individual hobbies or art...Ü

Haha! me too! ;) Oh, this might knock your socks off: There's going to be a free photography workshop in Angkor Wat (Cambodia) starting Nov. 20. I just read about it today. You can go to http://dsrito.multiply.com to read the details. Fingers crossed for all three of us (you, me and my sis), hehehe. Let's take what Julia Cameron says as inspiration:

"Very often, audacity, not talent, makes one person an artist and another a shadow artist - hiding in the shadows, afriad to step out and expose the dream to light, fearful that it will disintegrate to the touch." (The Artist's Way)

Yes, do! That's always something really great to put on your "ultimate to-do list" and something really heart-warming and exciting to look forward to.Ü As D'Sound (Norweigian alternative pop trio) sings: "Home is where the heart is/ Even when it's parted..."

If you go very early in the Morning to Ateneo you may want to go to

---> the Ateneo Football Field just fronting national bkstore (sun rising from the mountains of san mateo and montalban bathes everything in liquid goldÜ)
---> the trees in between Social Science and Dela Costa Bldgs. and the nearby parking lot
---> Masterson Drive or road leading to Ateneo High
---> Bellarmine Field fronting the Church of the Jesu
---> Seminary Road leading to the Loyola House of Studies and Barangka Steps
---> the Loyola House of Studies

Noontime
---> Eliazo (girls') Dormitory (lovely open sky leading to the entrance)
---> the space in between Eliazo & Cervini Dorms; it gives a panoramic view of the lay of the land below it (Marikina)
---> the "Titanic" or roofdeck of the Loyola House of Studies (ask receptionist if you can take pics there)
---> the backyard of the Manila Obesrvatory (you'll also get a view of the layout of San Mateo and Montalban mountains)

Early & Late Afternoon
---> the Ateneo Football Field again hehehe (the light will be coming from the sun setting down on Katipunan Avenue and the field, the bldgs, the trees, et. al. will be cast with a mellow yellow glowÜ)
---> Church of the Jesu along University Drive (place is elevated and can give you a view of the sky over Katipunan; hope you catch it with dramatic colors cast by the setting sun tomorrow)

Heehee...these are what I discovered through my jaunts in the place. I highly recommend you just go off on your own and explore and just really LOOK and SEE whatever's around you. Heck, you can even do away with my suggestions! ;) Oh, and share your pics! ;)

Enjoy!!!

Ü

escaler will be beautiful in the afternoon i think.Ü

suggestion ko is to go through the places that you're really interested in first, those that wow you and then the places near those, too. jumping from one spot to another spot further off repeatedly may tire you out and leave little joy in shooting hehe...and wear comfy shoes and non-fussy, inconspicuous clothes...and enjoy lang, i can never say that enough times hehe! Ü that's it pansit! mmmwahhh! ;)
