I'm very surprised with this one. It's the most un-Tori Amos thing ever.
haha! Ü i really wish i knew Tori Amos' repertoire better, but aside from "silent all these years" and this, my fave melody of hers, "Sleeps with Butterflies", i have yet to listen to her other songs.
i've seen her "behind the music" interview on youtube though and it just proves that she's really one of those compelling, really thought-provoking, emotionally-charged artists. i think on her own website, there are also a LOT of her "other" stuff being marketed (her autobio, posters, t-shirts, etc.) which seems to be a bit TOO much of her out there, but it DOES make an artist think that "hey, one CAN find ways to live off being an artist - one just has to be brave and creative". tori is inspiring as an artist because she just has that truly original spirit (after years of struggling and still continuing to be really present and open to experiences), that artistic spirit that asks and challenges: "why not?!".
